Moving Combined Heat & Power Forward in North Carolina

Combined Heat and Power (CHP), also known as cogeneration, is a localized, clean and highly efficient use of multiple forms of energy (e.g. thermal, electrical, mechanical) in a single integrated system. By installing a CHP system designed to meet the thermal load of a facility, CHP can greatly increase a facility’s operational efficiency and decrease energy costs.

This workshop will feature CHP end users from across our state to discuss the economic and operational benefits of CHP units, success stories and lessons learned regarding the installation of CHP, and potential solutions and strategies to increase CHP in NC.  Who should attend?
