WATER CONSERVATION
- 262 million gallons conserved since 2001-02
- Made possible through the use of low-flow devices, automated irrigation controls and new design standards
ENERGY CONSERVATION
- 3.9% decrease in energy consumption since 2002-03
- Made possible by lighting and automation upgrades, centralized utilities and increased campus awareness
NATURAL GAS & ALTERNATE FUELS
- More than $3 million in savings since 2002-03
- Made possible by choosing natural gas over oil, and by utilizing the most cost-effective fuel sources for chilled water and steam applications
